When COVID flipped our lives upside down, two hospitality pros turned furlough into fuel. After years in the food industry, we suddenly had no jobs, no income, and more free time than we knew what to do with. But our passion for great food and hospitality never faded—we knew we had to find a way back to doing what we love. (we promise our food is better than our rhymes)

So, we packed our bags, went camping, and started thinking about the future. Surrounded by nature (and maybe a few grilled meals), inspiration hit. Sam said, “Let’s turn this around—let’s build something of our own.” That spark led to a simple idea: create food that’s bold, comforting, and made with heart.

That’s how Packin’ Bowls™ was born—a food haven built on resilience, creativity, and a love for sharing good meals with good people. With nothing to lose, we set out to serve flavor, comfort, and a smile in every bite. (And yes, we promise our food is better than our rhymes!)
